ENCOURAGING INDUSTRY TO BE MORE INCLUSIVE


Getting to go behind-the-scenes at my favourite clothing brand Kowtow was a pinch-me photo commission on behalf of Hanga-Aro-Rau (Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics) Workforce Development Council.

A WORKPLACE WITH AWESOME ETHOS


The brief included capturing portraits and documentary-style photos of the staff in their workplace that manufactures 100% certified Fairtrade organic cotton garments, right here in Pōneke Wellington.

They have an archive wall of every Kowtow garment ever made and I think that would be my dream wardrobe situation.

Some of the images are now released as part of Hanga-Aro-Rau's report "Let’s level up: Unlock the power of inclusivity and discover the potential of the disabled workforce" and images will be used in future collateral for the Workforce Development Council.
